Outdoor fitness classes for all levels

Each class begins with a dynamic, energizing warm-up designed to wake up the mind and body, preparing you for a great workout. After the warm-up, we focus on four interdependent fitness components: cardio endurance, muscle endurance, strength, and flexibilty. Finally, each class ends with a balancing cool-down.

All of Bernal Heights is our playground, and we use it to our advantage and for our enjoyment! We employ an assortment of games and exercises possible only in an outdoor urban setting.

This multi-level, progressive workout is never the same twice, so you’ll never get bored! Exercises are modified or enhanced to meet the needs and limitations of each person, and we move carefully through a series of stages of exercise intensity and volume. The workouts focus on the natural development process of human movement and strength so that anyone, of any age and ability can participate and benefit. Register

All fitness levels
Specialized classes such as the 7:30 AM class are offered based on feedback from our members and the community. We design all our classes to meet the needs of both new participants and those who have kept a regular exercise routine with us for years. All our workouts include core strength training, cadio, and full body strength exercises. Each member of this class works at an intensity level that is appropriate for the individual, depending on level of fitness. We meet a few minutes before 7:30 AM at the Holly Park basketball courts. Please dress for the weather, we exercise rain or shine! Register

Class Size & Cancellations

Our classes require a minimum number of registrants in order for classes to be ongoing. Every attempt will be made to notify participants in advance, at least 24 hours prior to your first class, if the workout session is canceled. Participants are advised to call 415-891-9684 or email info@workoutonthehill.com to confirm if a workout session is on! A full refund will be given for class/session cancellations.
