Workout on the Hill

Elaine WilliamsElaine Williams is the owner of Workout on the Hill (WOTH). Elaine coaches group exercise classes, offers personal training sessions, and manages all operations for WOTH. She is a nationally certified personal trainer and nutrition consultant, and holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco.

Elaine has been an avid athlete for over 20 years, playing Division II Women’s college basketball and swimming in the Junior Olympics. For five years she has been a personal trainer and outdoor group exercise coach in San Francisco. Prior to her work at Workout on the Hill, Elaine worked for OutFit Fitness, DMcGuire Fitness, Presidio Sport and Medicine, and Ultimate Performance, assisting five-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson.

It was while playing college basketball that Elaine learned the importance of strength training and conditioning the mind and body together to achieve optimal performance. She suffered a back injury that could have ended her career, but with a diligent rehabilitation routine (and lots of determination!), she healed from the injury. She went on to not only play basketball, but was a starter all four years of college. To this day, Elaine maintains optimal fitness and is excited to share her techniques, strength training and conditioning programs with all participants in Workout on the Hill.

Elaine is bilingual in English and Spanish, is CPR and First Aid certified, and offers a wide range of services from personal training and nutrition consultation to group exercise classes and health education. She is available for personal training sessions by appointment.
