Philip W. Braddock is the newest Coach to join Workout On The Hill, beginning in April 2010. His approach to fitness is functional, using program design that enhances overall strength and energy for daily life. Philip teaches that a healthy body also enhances the health of the mind, increasing clarity of thought and productivity. Philip's workouts are designed to answer the question: What can this workout do to improve the quality of life for my students?
Emphasizing strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, core stability, and increasing flexibility, Philip's classes offer a complete and balanced approach to physical fitness. Philip is motivating and well-practiced in a diverse range of exercise modalities, and he encourages those in his classes to develop their own physical capacity in a supportive environment.
Throughout high school and college, Philip played competitive baseball and squash, and swam. An avid athlete throughout his life, Philip continues to participate in all types of physical activities, from yoga and Pilates to running and biking. Philip can often be found climbing some of San Francisco’s steepest and most scenic hills on his bicycle.
Philip is a certified Personal Trainer (NPTI #B00937) and mat Pilates instructor (Body In Flow Pilates #B000098), and is also CPR certified.
