Ross Steiner joined Workout on the Hill in 2009. Prior to working with Workout on the Hill, Ross taught individual surf lessons and trained at Crunch, where he taught Promise Kickboxing, TRX systems, and Power Lifting, deepening his knowledge of personal training and fitness. Some of Ross’s talents include full-spectrum program design, focusing on mixing core, strength, nutrition, flexibility, and cardio efficiency. He is an expert at sport-specific strength and conditioning, as well as outdoor & extreme sports preparation in snowboarding, mountain-biking, rock-climbing, and surfing. Additional specialties include Jiu Jitsu (No-Gi), basic boxing conditioning, weight loss / weight gain, and pre- & post-natal fitness.
Ross follows a personalized nutrition system, and encourages his clients to take advantage of nutrition programs in combination with his personal training services to see the best and most consistent results. Ross received his NASM CPT certificate in 2005, is certified to teach Post Partum fitness classes, and has 3 years of experience training groups of post-natal mothers returning to their optimal fitness levels.
