This is not just another “boot camp” or anonymous group exercise class. We combine the support of professional lifestyle coaching with the guidance and motivation of certified trainers to give you the tools to achieve your goals. All you need to do is show up!


Our whole-life approach to fitness emphasizes fun, positive thinking, variation, and peer support. In exchange for your hard work, you receive attention to your health, nutrition, stress levels, lifestyle, and any special limitations you may be experiencing. Each workout is designed to be different from the last so that you don’t get bored – you will be physically challenged and mentally inspired. Begin with your goal in mind and end with a real sense of accomplishment.

Support is available for each participant through phone consultations, emails, online health tips and resources, positive affirmations, and in-class individual attention. Not to mention the encouragement of your peers, who are working as hard as you are!

Kristina Schubert


Kristina believes proper nutrition and exercise play crucial roles in achieving good health and overall well-being. Kristina’s passion led her to attend the National Personal Training Institute, where she graduated with a certification as a Master Personal Trainer & Nutritional Consultant in 2007. Soon after, Kristina began working at 24 Hour Fitness as a personal trainer, where she trained clients with goals ranging from injury rehabilitation to weight loss. Kristina’s approach to achieve optimal fitness is using proper form and technique, challenging the body, and enhancing one’s mental-physical awareness through movement in different spatial planes. Kristina believes fitness can be fun, and enjoys working outdoors or in client’s homes to help individuals achieve the same goal, optimal fitness!

Kristina also holds a certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Katherine Scanlon


Katherine Scanlon has been a certified Personal Trainer since 2011. However, her love of fitness began in 2007 when she lost a substantial amount of weight and absolutely fell in love with fitness. What exercise did for her body and mind changed her life course from a preschool teacher/nanny to attending National Personal Training Institite. She has decided to take her passion even further as she is currently preparing her application to Physical Therapy School.


"Fitness is a life long journey. It's greater than any one workout, race or competition. I believe in setting goals, reaching them, celebrating and then setting a new goal. Always moving forward, pushing yourself but doing so safely and realistically is the way to stay fit for life."


Katherine lives in SOMA with her wife and dog. She works at UCSF Bakar Rec. Center, loves sunny days, lifting weights and running half Marathons.
